#BAUniC2018

#BAUniC2018 is the competitive event of 2018 for #BAUniC


Competitors:

This is the updated version of last year's entry, 'Electra Symetry'. Let's see if this year will bring more programmers trying to bring this, and other concepts/theories, into computer code able to render a slice of the universe. That is how a #FractalUniverseRevolution goes, one step at a time.

Our physics could be a part of the Mandelbrot fractal, with dimensions and forces as emergent properties.

Vote rewards for #BAUniC2018:

1 USD for the #BAUniC-Prime-Pyramid will be rewarded with 8 votes with which to help chose the winners of #BAUniC2018

32 L$ (SL L$, SecondLife LindenDollars) for the #BAUniC-Prime-Pyramid will be rewarded with 1 vote (L$ to USD exchange ratio of 250L$=1USD)

128 viewpoints (minds.com points) for the #BAUniC-Prime-Pyramid will be rewarded with 1 vote (points to USD exchange ratio of 1000points=1USD)

Bitcoins and other currencies will use common sense to determine the vote rewards.

Doubling the vote rewards compared to #BAUniC2017, according to the vote deflation mechanism.


Participating teams (with complete projects) will be rewarded with symbolic votes valid for #BAUniC2019:
28 votes for their main project in the chosen category,
+20 votes for a tutorial to building a similar project (not just steps to reproducing the results),
and +12, +8, +4 votes for participating in other categories.
Finalists will also have a symbolic vote gift:
+52 votes for making it to the finals of their chosen category,
+44 votes for the tutorial finals,
and respectively +24, +16 and +8 if they make it to more categories.
Winners will also have a symbolic vote gift:
+76 votes for winning their chosen category,
+68 if they win the tutorial race,
and +36, +24, +12 if they win more categories.


Voting:
Votes (for each category) will be given to the presented projects as the voters see fit, in any order or arrangement.
(e.g., if I have 10 votes, I may wish to give all of them to only 1 project on the 'Best Formula' category, and give 3-3-2-1-1 votes on the 'Best Tutorial' category, and pass on the decision to an artist friend in the 'Best Scenery' category.)
Projects will be ordered by number of votes in their respective category.


Expected dates:
`Projects need to be presented before November 2018.
`Debates are expected during November 2018.
`Winners should be declared by the end of November 2018.
`Human to human interaction takes precedence over robotic following of the plans. Dates may change, but the people caring will be the people engaged with the projects, rather than strict rules or votes.
